The History of Hotel Alpina
A long tradition of hospitality in the heart of the Dolomites
Hotel Alpina is one of the historic hotels in Madonna di Campiglio. It all began in the 1930s with the purchase of a simple stable, but the first official step came in 1941. In that year, drawing on his experience as a maintenance worker at the Grand Hotel Des Alpes, Faustino Aldrighetti obtained a guesthouse license.
However, the real identity of the hotel was born in December 1955, when Romeo and Emma inaugurated the "Pensione Alpina". A little curiosity: the name "Alpina" was a completely casual choice, suggested in that very year by a provincial official at the time of registration.
Expansions and the first wellness center
While Madonna di Campiglio was establishing itself as an internationally renowned tourist destination, the hotel grew hand in hand, undergoing continuous expansions between the 50s and 60s.
1988 marked the year of the great turning point: a major renovation gave life to the current building, developed over three floors with 27 cozy rooms. With this intervention, Hotel Alpina achieved a small historic milestone in Campiglio, becoming the first 3-star hotel in the village to inaugurate a wellness area dedicated to guests, complete with a sauna and whirlpool.

Today, after decades of passionate dedication by the Aldrighetti family, this important witness passes into our hands. We, Claudio and Cristian Vidi, guide the hotel with renewed energy and a deep respect for its history: our desire is to offer you a comfortable and authentic retreat, capable of making you feel immediately at home, in the full spirit of true Trentino hospitality.
