Tuesday, 29 July 2025

A flower blooming among the rocks, a view opening onto the Dolomites, the satisfaction of reaching the summit. These and other emotions await you in the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta.

The “Qualità Parco” label to respect nature

Every time we walk in the woods we feel the strong call of nature, which is why we have embraced an eco-friendly philosophy certified by the “Qualità Parco” label. A sign of respect towards the beauty that surrounds us and of which we are proud. So what better starting point for your holidays in nature than Hotel Alpina?
Let's start with some data on the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta.

Some information about the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta

Madonna di Campiglio is located right in the heart of the Park, the largest protected area in Trentino (620.51 sq km). Surrounded by the Adamello and Brenta groups, it includes Val Rendena, the Non, Sole, and Giudicarie valleys.
Its wealth lies in the woods, which cover a third of the park, the 48 small lakes, the alpine meadows, and the vegetation that we also find above an altitude of 2,500 meters.

The flora and fauna of Adamello-Brenta

The vegetation includes coniferous forests and diverse environments made of firs, larches, beeches, as well as large grassy meadows, pastures, rushing streams, and impervious rocks. In total, over 1,500 species of flora coexist here.
And the animals? Who can you meet in the Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta? First of all, the brown bear, symbol of the park, depicted in the official logo and well present in many environments between Adamello and Brenta. In addition to it, deer, chamois, roe deer, and ibex peek out. Among the smaller fauna, you might catch sight of some marmots, badgers, foxes, and capercaillies.

What to do in the Nature Park

Independent excursions or guided tours with park operators, trips to discover Lake Tovel and Val Genova or to rediscover ancient mountain crafts, evenings in a refuge under the starry blanket, via ferratas, high-altitude trekking, walks among the Nardis or Vallesinella waterfalls.
For children, then, the activities are countless: the summer program of the Nature Park promises to leave you speechless, thanks to the workshops at Acqua Life and at the GeoPark…10, 100, 1000 experiences to live as a couple or family in the largest Nature Park in Trentino.
