Junior Park Madonna di Campiglio: a special park to discover mountain wildlife

Sunday, 07 September 2025

Among the wonderful peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, a new experience awaits those who love nature and wish to experience it in an educational and engaging way. It is the Junior Park Madonna di Campiglio, a unique park of its kind, designed to bring families, children, and curious people of all ages closer to the native wildlife of our mountains. A project that combines art, science, and territorial protection to tell the story of the natural richness that makes these valleys so special.

A path between sculptures and stories

The Junior Park is entirely immersed in the nature of the Malga Zeledria area, a breathtaking setting where 18 large wooden sculptures reproduce, in life size, the animals that inhabit our woods. An original way to closely observe deer, ibexes, bears, marmots, and many other species, discovering their habits, unique characteristics, and the importance they have for the balance of the alpine ecosystem.
Designed to engage everyone, the park offers little ones a playful adventure among realistic figures and interactive paths, while teenagers and adults find scientific information, illustrated insights, and digital materials to better know the observed species. Thanks to information panels, multimedia supports, and guided activities, every visit becomes an opportunity to learn while having fun.

A shared project, a richer territory

This new attraction was born thanks to the enthusiasm of the Associazione Amici dei Sentieri, with the support of numerous local bodies, the Tourism Board, the Pro Loco, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, and the local Municipalities. The works, hand-carved by the artists of the “La Busier” Wood School in Praso, are integrated with great attention to visitor safety and respect for the environment. Every year, new installations, workshops, and contents will enrich the path, transforming it into an experience "on the move", capable of renewing itself and always telling something new.
The park is a virtuous example of collaboration between public and private sectors, with the aim of enhancing the tourism offering of Madonna di Campiglio in a sustainable key. This project is the result of a shared commitment that makes it even more special: the Hotel Alpina too, together with over 40 hoteliers, restaurateurs, and public operators, actively contributed to the financing of this work. A choral commitment that demonstrates how much our community believes in an attentive and responsible tourism, capable of enriching the territory and giving value back to everyone.

Nature awaits you

Staying at the Hotel Alpina means having this splendid opportunity close at hand: a walk in nature that combines fun, education, and respect for the environment. One more reason to choose Madonna di Campiglio as the destination for your mountain holidays and discover up close the beauty of a territory that grows thanks to the commitment of those who live it every day.
