Moms and dads, here are 5 easy excursions from Madonna di Campiglio that will make you dream together with your children.
Pure air, unforgettable landscapes, mountain lakes, fragrant flowers and, if you are lucky, even wild blueberries to pick directly in the woods. Are you ready? Lace up your shoes and backpacks… Let's go, off we start!

Excursion to Lago delle Malghette
This alpine path on dirt and stones is constantly and gently downhill, ideal for an excursion with children because it presents no difficulties. You start on foot from the center of Madonna di Campiglio and continue towards the summit of Pradalago, crossing a beautiful path in the woods.
Once you arrive at Lago delle Malghette, you can rest while enjoying the unforgettable mountain landscape, or for the tireless, it is possible to follow the path that circumnavigates almost the entire lake.
To return, you must follow the path that goes down to Campo Carlo Magno and then arrive in about twenty minutes at Madonna di Campiglio. The complete route takes about three hours. It cannot be covered with a stroller.

To Malga Mondifrà with a stroller
Starting on foot from the square of the Grostè cable car in the northern area of Madonna di Campiglio, it is possible to reach Malga Mondifrà. After a comfortable path, partly paved and partly dirt, of just over one kilometer, you reach Malga Mondifrà.
Once at the alpine hut, take the opportunity to rest and taste the typical dishes and the excellent cheeses produced right here. You will have the chance to savor the most genuine and authentic flavors of the mountains. The route is also easy for strollers.

The Tour of the Cascate di Vallesinella
You start from the Zona Palù of Madonna di Campiglio, and then take the “Sentiero dell’Orso” (Bear's Path). To start the path leading to the waterfalls, you will need to find the small house of the Natural Park after Piazza Palù, at the beginning of the carriage road in the woods. Arriving at Malga Vallesinella di Sopra, in front of you you will see an expanse of flowers on a wide meadow and to the right you will find the path leading to the Cascate Alte di Vallesinella (High Waterfalls).
The spectacle that will open up before your eyes will remain etched in your mind: water bursting from the rocks and then crashing into waterfalls of different shapes with roaring drops of water. The power of nature shows and makes itself felt, leaving everyone speechless. You go down along the waterfalls crossing spectacular small bridges to then reach the Vallesinella refuge. From here you can continue to the nearby Cascate di Mezzo or take the Natural Park shuttle to return to Madonna di Campiglio. The route cannot be used with a stroller, except for short stretches.

From Patascoss to Malga Ritorto with children, also with a stroller
This excursion starts from the locality of Patascoss, which can be reached by car from Madonna di Campiglio following the state road towards Campo Carlo Magno and then the road towards the plain of Nambino. Alternatively, you can go up with the Colarin cable car from Madonna di Campiglio. From here you walk down along a comfortable and flat paved path that leads to Malga Ritorto in about forty minutes.
During the summer period, it is possible to go up in a horse-drawn carriage (for a fee) which leads directly from Patascoss to Malga Ritorto. This route is particularly suitable for families with strollers.

On flat paths from Patascoss to the green Lago Nambino
Also from Patascoss starts a flat path that allows you to reach Lago Nambino in forty minutes, a jewel set in the slopes of Cima Serodoli. Children can joyfully spend time on the small beaches of the lake, playing with the fresh water coming directly from the nearby glacier.
The route is very comfortable, suitable for both strollers and wheelchairs for the disabled.
