A winter of novelties in Madonna di Campiglio: the new Nube d’Argento gondola lift arrives
Madonna di Campiglio has always been one of the most loved destinations for ski enthusiasts, thanks to a unique ski area that connects Pinzolo, Campiglio, and Val di Sole with over 150 km of interconnected ski-in, ski-out slopes. For winter 2025/2026, important novelties are on the way to make the experience on the slopes even more special: the new Nube d’Argento gondola lift in Madonna di Campiglio, the new Brenzi chairlift in Folgarida-Marilleva, and the new Fossadei slope in Pinzolo.
The new Nube d’Argento gondola lift
The heart of the novelty for Campiglio is the replacement of the historic Nube d’Argento two-seater chairlift, which has been in operation for over 40 years. In its place, a modern 10-seater monocable gondola lift by Doppelmayr will rise, guaranteeing:
- an hourly capacity of 2,400 people
- a length of 875 meters
- greater comfort and faster uphill transport.
The lift will depart from the flat area of Passo Campo Carlo Magno to reach high altitude in the Montagnoli area, within the Spinale ski area: an upgrade that will make access to the slopes smoother and the skiing day more enjoyable.

The modernization process of the Madonna di Campiglio Ski Area already began with the connection to Pinzolo in 2011 and continues today with new lifts and cutting-edge systems for scheduled snowmaking. Results that confirm Campiglio's role as a benchmark for ski tourism in the Alps.
