On skis in Madonna di Campiglio: slopes, cable cars, and skipass
Tre-tre, Amazzonia, Direttissima dello Spinale, Canalone Schumacher, Tulot, are some of the names of the most famous slopes in the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. Under the name of “Ski area Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole-Val Rendena” it offers skiers a good 150 km of ski-in, ski-out slopes.
The slopes of Madonna di Campiglio in numbers
The numbers of the ski area are summarized as follows:
100 slopes, including 18 black, 37 red, and 45 blue
4 Snowparks
61 ski lifts and cable cars
95% of the slopes covered with scheduled snowmaking
Altitude of the ski area ranging from 850 to 2500 meters above sea level.
Hotel Alpina awaits you right here… on the slopes!
And in the heart of all this you will find Hotel Alpina, opposite the 3tre slope and a 150-meter walk from the Pradalago cable car. We offer our guests the opportunity to go skiing without needing to use a car or ski bus. A hotel that is practically "ski-in, ski-out"!
Our favorites: slopes, cable cars, and mountain huts
In addition to the cable cars closest to the hotel, we recommend trying the famous Grostè cable car and Spinale cable car, from which thrilling slopes descend. If you simply want to take your "first steps" on skis, the most suitable itineraries for beginners, in our opinion, are the “Pradalago blue” and the gentle slopes of Grostè.
Our favorite slopes? We like Amazzonia, Tre-tre, and the Direttissima dello Spinale. For a lunch or a mulled wine between ski sessions, we recommend a break at one of these mountain huts: Rifugio Graffer, Rifugio Viviani, Chalet Fiat, and Rifugio Montagnoli. In these last two huts and at Patascoss, you can also stop for dinner.
Please contact the reception for any information and advice, we will be happy to help you.
Skipass included during the Ski Week
During certain winter weeks, we offer a skipass included special to ski without worrying about the price throughout the ski area. Check out our Ski Week special offer in Madonna di Campiglio.
Learning to ski with the Des Alpes Ski School
Ski slopes for all tastes and abilities offer guests the opportunity to ski safely and have fun. But if you want to approach skiing with greater confidence or need to refine your technique, we suggest taking a few lessons with one of the numerous ski instructors available in the resort.
For decades we have been collaborating with the Scuola Sci Nazionale – Des Alpes, one of the historic ski schools in Madonna di Campiglio, which offers ski courses for all abilities: from children and absolute beginners to expert skiers who want to experience the thrill of freeride or daring descents on the black slopes of our ski area.
When does the snow arrive? Weather info, snow report, and open ski lifts
Starting from November, usually around the 20th of the month, nature begins to give us the first snowfalls and Madonna di Campiglio begins to put on its winter outfit, ready to welcome guests for the Christmas and New Year holidays. To be updated in real time on the snow conditions and open ski lifts, we suggest you check the slope snow report on the website www.funiviecampiglio.it as well as the weather report that you can always find here.
