Senter Dei Siori - Masi Claemp
If you want to take an easy and panoramic route, we recommend a trip to the Masi di Claemp, which will offer you exciting views of the Dolomiti di Brenta and the Val Rendena.
To the Masi di Claemp… let's start!
To reach the Masi Claemp, take the "Giro di Campiglio", a loop route through the woods that runs around the town, near the hotel. Follow it for a short distance to the south until the junction for the Panorama locality (Pappagallo restaurant).
Along the “Senter dei Siori”
Continue along the "Senter dei Siori", an old path dear to the nobles who visited Madonna di Campiglio and to Princess Sissi. The path runs flat through a relaxing wood of firs, larches, hazels, and birches, which take on wonderful colors in autumn.
The rural village of Claemp
You reach the rural settlement of Masi Claemp, now sporadically inhabited and only during summer holidays, nestled in a beautiful clearing from where you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Brenta Group and the valley below.
Near this small settlement, there is the ruin of a trenched camp from the First World War.
For the return, you can make a detour in the direction of the "Milegna" farmsteads, ancient farmsteads from the 1600s, which does not prolong the itinerary by much.
You can also consider returning partially with the transport means provided by the Natural Park, going up to Malga Ritorto.
Route characteristics:
An easy route suitable for everyone and extremely panoramic. You walk along a flat path immersed in a beautiful pine forest until you emerge into the clearing of Masi Claemp, from where you have a breathtaking view of the entire Brenta Group from south to north and of the valley below, the Val Rendena.
Start and end of the route:
Departure on foot from the hotel heading south from the "Giro di Campiglio". Access near the hotel. You reach the Panorama locality and from there the "Senter dei Siori" begins.
After an easy walk, you reach the rural settlement of Masi Claemp.
